Works with Student Recruitment Specialists to provide campus visits to prospective students. Conducts tours. Follows-up with prospective students.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Position requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent plus one year of related clerical, customer service, or adult education experience. Additional related work experience, preferably at a Community College, may replace the degree requirement.

Knowledge and Skills: Requires desire and commitment to work with students. Requires knowledge of general clerical practices and principles. Must be skilled in using personal computers, word processing, spreadsheet, database and Internet applications. Must have well developed oral and written communication skills and college level math skills. Requires public speaking skills.

Abilities: Requires the ability to independently carry out the duties of the position efficiently and effectively. Must be able to use word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet applications. Ability to communicate effectively both in English and Spanish one-on-one, over the phone, and in group settings preferred. Must have strong customer service skills. Must be able to work respectfully and inclusively with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, differences, and abilities. Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual English – Spanish language fluency. Experience with various software programs and online resources related to college. Knowledge of procedures and processes in Admissions, Registration, and Student Affairs. General knowledge of LBCC instructional programs. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Requires the ability to operate computer and other office equipment. Requires ability to accurately processing words and numbers, in person, via Internet, and via the telephone, with or without accommodations. Ability to communicate in person and in front of groups in English and Spanish preferred. Requires ability to move throughout campus, conducting tours, including climbing stairs.

Work is performed in an office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Conducting tours requires the employee to move throughout campus, with some exposure to weather extremes. Considerable time is spent working on a computer. Essential Duties:
1. Works with schools and community groups to plan large campus tours.
2. Conducts campus tours for prospective students as needed.
3. Ensures visitors input their information into the recruitment CRM system.
4. Responsible for follow-up with prospective students after a campus tour takes place.
5. Assists with training student workers and student ambassadors as tour guides.
6. When needed, corresponds in person and through email with prospective students. Applicant Instructions:
