ABOUT POMONA COLLEGE:  Located near Los Angeles, California, Pomona College is widely regarded as one of the nation's premier liberal arts colleges. JOB PURPOSE: The Associate Director, Reunion Giving plays a critical role in Pomona College’s effort to deepen its relationship with alumni and secure support for annual funding priorities. By strategically leveraging the special opportunity of reunion to engage alumni, the candidate will plan and execute a reunion giving program that aims to increase both class giving and participation as well as build a strong pipeline of alumni support. The Associate Director will manage a robust volunteer program and collaborate with key campus stakeholders to support reunion programming that aligns with reunion giving goals. The Associate Director will support new ideas and teamwork and become fully integrated in the preparation for the most aspirational and comprehensive campaign in Pomona College’s history.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Education/Licenses/Certificates: Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the areas of Business, Organizational Development, Advancement, Fund Raising, or more years of college or business school is preferred.  Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience with increasing responsibility in a complex college setting. Demonstrated fundraising experience at an academic institution is desirable. Relevant corporate, non-profit leadership or military experience may be substituted for fundraising experience.

REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Holiday, weekend and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the College or division.
