Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Digital Designer and Developer in the Marketing and Communications.
The candidate would be expected to: design, build, implement, and maintain inclusive and high performance web pages and digital assets that prospective and current students, alumni, employees, and the community will easily use and enjoy.

Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Required Years of Experience:
Other Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
Proficiency with design software such as Sketch, Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Experience building web pages with WordPress, specifically the block editor.
Familiarity with modern front-end development: HTML5, JavaScript (ES6/ESNext), and CSS3 (SCSS).Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 guidelines. Familiarity with Git.
Demonstrated knowledge of web usability and information architecture. Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Higher education experience.
