Job Description

The Mechanical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking Adjunct Faculty for in-person instruction at the Daytona Beach Campus. Successful candidates will be hired on a part-time, per course basis. Courses are typically taught either MWF or TR; flexible hours and scheduling may be available.


Candidates must hold a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; preference will be given to candidates who also hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

Candidates must be capable of teaching one or more of the following courses: Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Machine Design, Instrumentation & Data Acquisition, Model-Based Control System Design, Mechatronics, Biofluid Mechanics, or Vehicle Aerodynamics.
