woods, is the original and largest college in the Lone Star College

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The position maintains and manages the LSC-North Harris web
presence, including but not limited to the main web page (
LoneStar.edu/NorthHarris ), digital calendars and Social Media. He
or She delegates individuals across the campus in various
departments to make routine web edits.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Maintain the LSC-North Harris web page.
- Schedule, track and monitor social media activity on all
- Schedule, track and monitor the digital calendars available on
the LSC Web. Create a weekly e-blast for Students, Faculty and
- Train departmental staff to make minor changes on the LSC-North
Harris web page. Train departmental staff to add events onto the
- Schedule, track and monitor all digital signage (68+ LCD
Monitors and Marquee) on campus.
- Create graphic content for all platforms (LCD Monitors, Social
Media Posts, Flyers, Posters, Web Banners, Marquee signs).
- Provide support to end-users for basic web
- Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with functionality of Twitter, Facebook and other
social media sites
- Ability to work and interact professionally with clients and
- Must be detail oriented, team player and technologically
- Must be a fast learner
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to
do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;
carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or
driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to
perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a
Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to
carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal
exposure to safety hazards
High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of related work
Hourly Pay Rate is $17.50
