The Coordinator of Student Athlete Engagement / Women's Basketball will assist the Director of Operations / Women's Basketball with the day to day management of all program needs including but not limited to: player engagement and advisement, team travel, facility calendar scheduling, official team communications, CARA log review and submission, gameday management, visiting team needs, contract management and execution. This position will conduct themselves in accordance with all Virginia Tech, NCAA and Commonwealth of Virginia policies and procedures and maintain the highest standard of integrity as it relates to the program and the University. This position will report directly to the Head Coach / Women's Basketball.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree and/or bachelor's degree with related experience.
Must have advanced computer skills, good communication, organization and time management skills.
Budgetary and supervisory experience.
Experience in intercollegiate athletics as a student athlete or staff member.
Commitment to diversity.
Familiarity with a collegiate athletics atmosphere, including terminology, NCAA regulations.
Must have working knowledge of NCAA rules as they pertain to team travel, official and unofficial visits, and recruiting of student athletes.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of ARMS or similar recruiting software.
