Job Description:

The Morton Family Learning Center Study Lab Monitor oversees activity and tracks attendance for the college-wide evening study lab which typically occurs nightly Sunday-Thursday in the fall and Monday-Thursday in the spring. This position is also required to attend a weekly meeting with the Director of the Morton Family Learning Center via Microsoft Teams. In addition to monitoring activity within the Study Lab, the Monitor will direct students to tutoring services and provide academic support when appropriate.

Job Duties

• Track attendance for Study Lab attendees;
• Collaborate with Coordinator of Academic Probation to address academic concerns;
• Facilitate learning support by directing students to tutoring services;
• Provide direct assistance when appropriate;
• Maintain attendance in Excell and report any issues;
• Maintain a environment of mutual respect

Managerial and Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee work study assignments during Study Lab when assigned.

Hours

Sunday-Thursday, 7-9 pm in the fall; and Monday-Thursday, 7-9 pm in the spring. 

Requirements:

• Master's Degree
• COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster required.
