 The Department of Biological Sciences at Nova Southeastern University invites talented educator/investigators to join our emerging program building on strengths in Genomics and Evolutionary Biology. Successful candidates will join a growing team in a vibrant and collaborative environment. We are located in a beautiful setting just a few short miles from the ocean in sunny south Florida. In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise, faculty also have wide latitude in the development of their research program and the mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants with research experience in genomics and bioinformatics are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Department of Biological Sciences contains the highest undergraduate enrollment approximately 1,200 biology majors. The Department includes 22 full time faculty members and offers a B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Biological Sciences with two concentrations: Health Studies and Research. The Department also offers a certificate program in Computational Molecular Biology. The Department of Biological Sciences is housed within the Halmos College of Arts and Sciences.
