SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a tenure track position.

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral degree preferred, ABD near completion will be considered. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills and should demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with students and with other instructors. Effective teaching and advising experience, demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are also strongly desired. Experience teaching lecture and lab components of Microbiology and General Biology is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a full-time, 9-month position with teaching responsibilities in the Biology program. The successful candidate will teach lecture and lab components of Microbiology and Principles of Biology. The ideal candidate could also teach Immunology.  In addition, the candidate will assist with student recruitment and serve as a research mentor and academic advisor.
