Position Summary:
Susquehanna University invites applications for a one-year visiting position to start in August 2022. 3/3 load. Ph.D. in Philosophy required. Areas of Specialization: Open with preference for value theory, broadly construed. Areas of Competence: Ability to teach Modern Philosophy and Aesthetics is desirable. Demonstrated teaching excellence is essential. Teaching duties include introductory-level courses with an ethics emphasis for our Central Curriculum and may include intermediate-level and upper-level courses in one or more of the areas mentioned above. Commitment to teaching both major and non-major undergraduates at a liberal arts college will be strongly preferred.

Ph.D. in Philosophy required .
