Job Description:
The Course Delivery and Adjunct Faculty Manager manages the preparation of all MDC Online courses for online delivery; facilitates on-going technical support to all faculty teaching MDC Online courses; and ensures quality teaching by the MDC Online adjunct faculty.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Supervises and evaluates all MDC Online adjunct faculty
•Manages the copying of MDC Online master courses and proctored assessment configuration for faculty
•Supervises the team’s work with faculty in preparing/customizing MDC Online courses for online delivery
•Oversees the review of customized MDC Online courses to ensure compliance with MDC Online requirements
•Oversees the implementation of departmental procedures for preparation of MDC Online courses for Learning Management System (LMS) updates/migrations
•Researches and tests LMS features and procedures
•Resolves faculty’s technical course delivery issues
•Facilities MDC Online Certification training for new MDC Online faculty
•Serves as liaison with the Instructional Design and Technology teams
Minimum Requirements
•Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, in Technology or Academic field, with four (4) years of work experience to include online teaching experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Academic field, with eight (8) years of related work experience to include online teaching experience
•Ability to supervise and train assigned staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
•Knowledge, proficiency and skill in all Microsoft Office applications
•Knowledge, proficiency and skill in a Learning Management System
•Ability to effectively present information to groups of peers, faculty, and higher level management
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional and technical documents
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions for reporting purposes
