The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems invites
applications for two full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor
positions beginning January 2023 or August 2023.
Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Excel in teaching computer science topics at the baccalaureate and graduate levels; pursue scholarly research; assist with curriculum development; engage and motivate students; participate in department, college and university service duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Requirements:
PhD in Computer Science or related field. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Strong communication skills, excellent teaching skills or the potential to develop excellent teaching skills, the ability to adapt to new teaching formats, and expertise in programming and other topics related to computer science and information systems.
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in computer science and information systems.
