Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities:
- Working with the Director and CISTEME support staff (including graduate assistants).
- Manage the effective logistical implementation of projects/grants within established deliverables:
* E.G.
* Teacher professional learning
* CISTEME events
* Student STEM outreach/engagement activities
- Work closely with the Director of CISTEME (and support staff) to ensure quality/consistent events and timely/accurate communications.
- Track and compile program/project data to develop baselines and metrics to support grant reports and strategic growth.
- Execute necessary reporting and timely execution of paperwork that may include the generation of consultant consultant contracts and payments, teacher stipends and reimbursements, initial drafts of grant reports to sponsors/agencies/funders.
- Fulfill other duties as required by CISTEME.
Required Duties:
- Familiarity with remote conferencing platforms and Microsoft Office required.
- Ability to multitask and manage simultaneous tasks/deliverables when necessary.
- Confidence to manage various databases and event driven schedules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work from homeland onsite at VCU and meet mutually agreed deadlines.
- A love of working with people from various backgrounds A commitment to making a difference in the lives of students and the teachers who serve them in the Richmond region.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing projects
- Working with K12 teachers and students.
Salary Range: $45,00 - $55,000
