University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, exempt, benefited position through 6/30/2023 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $5,833.33-$7,500.00 per month

Program Summary:
The CalSWEC Title IV-E Program provides professional education and monetary support to undergraduate and graduate social work students who intend to pursue or continue a career in the field of public child welfare. Components include: delivery of specialized curricular content in public child welfare; provision of monetary support to students in return for completion of an employment obligation in a qualifying public child welfare agency; and tracking of students post-graduation for completion of program requirements
Work Schedule
To be determined, Exempt, 40 hours per week; schedule may require working irregular hours including evenings, weekends, but typically Monday - through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Incumbent must be able to participate in remote or on campus work depending on the directives from the CSUSB campus. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Typical Activities
Duties: Reporting to the Director of the School of Social Work the main responsibilities and duties of the IV-E Project Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Oversight of the daily operation of the IV-E program, including implementation and monitoring of contract compliance with CalSWEC
- Development and implementation of the general policies and procedures of the program
- Directing all aspect of the award and budget development, administration, compliance and evaluation
- Oversight of student recruitment, screening, selection, job placement, and tracking
- Development and oversight of student seminars, and training and support for field instructors and field liaisons
- Provide enrichment of student's public child welfare education through curriculum development, field work, classroom activities, and program evaluation and data collection activities
- Attending and participating in partnership meetings with public child welfare agencies and with CalSWEC
- Participate in School of Social Work committees and work groups
- Supervise IV-E child welfare specialists and administrative support staff
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master's in Social Work degree is required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years post MSW experience in a public child welfare agency
Additional Qualifications:
- Familiarity with California Public Child Welfare law, policy and practice
- Experience in administration and budgeting
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple agencies and persons
- Ability to work with diverse student, campus and community
- Ability to assist students to develop educationally
