University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the
university's educational mission by providing quality services that
complement the instructional program. The University depends upon
UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds.
We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but
not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending
services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and
local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Temporary, exempt, benefited position through (DATE) (Appointment
may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds,
availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
$5,200-$7,040 per month

The project focusses on student success in the College of Natural
Sciences. The goal is to increase the number of students,
particularly those from under-represented groups, who attain a STEM
degree. Typical strategies for attaining this goal include:
enhancing advising, providing sustained professional development
opportunities for faculty members and staff, offering out of class
academic support such as supplemental instruction or peer led team
tutoring, and increasing the availability of other high-impact
practices such as undergraduate research.
Exempt position. 40+ hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but
typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm though some nights,
weekend work may be required. Incumbent must be able to participate
in remote or on campus work depending on the directives from the
First Review Deadline
This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be
reviewed beginning 6/16/2022.
Under the general supervision of the principal investigator, the
Program Manager will undertake all aspects of project management.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring each budget and ensuring that all sponsor, UEC and
university guidelines and rules are followed
- Process various invoices, requisitions, purchase orders,
reimbursements, and faculty/student pay
- Creating a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences
the activities needed to successfully complete each project and
maintaining a timeline for each project that includes key
- Setting up files to ensure that all project information is
appropriately documented and secured
- Being the point of contact for federal reporting or data needs
and assisting in collecting data and completing reports (Quarterly
reports, Annual reports, IRB submissions, and others as
- Being the point of contact for the external evaluators and
assisting in collecting data and completing reports
- Scheduling meetings, creating agendas, update website and
- Maintaining effective communication across all the areas within
and outside University Enterprises Corporation (UEC), and CSUSB
including any external partners
- Overseeing, in collaboration with the project personnel, the
hiring of the staff members and student assistants
Education and Experience:
- Assist in recruitment and retention of student
- Collect and monitor database of student information
- Monitor and report on advising stats, workshop/event
- Participate in leadership meetings to discuss ongoing progress
and ways to increase effectiveness of grant goals
A Bachelor's degree or
equivalent and a minimum of two years of professional experience
related to duties and responsibilities specified in the posting.
Equivalent amounts of job-related experience may be substituted for
the education requirement.
