SUNY Brockport is
currently accepting applications for a Purchase Assistant. This
position will be serving as the procurement lead for a variety of
commodities and services. Minimum
- Bachelor's degree by time of appointment from a college or
university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
internationally recognized college or university.
- At least one year of demonstrated experience in, procurement,
sourcing, contracting and vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills, as
well as being solution oriented.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment and
strong and effective communication and interpersonal
- Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to
ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating
with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel,
- Ability to work effectively with students, public, college
community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for
cultural and group differences.
- SUNY or Higher Education experience
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $50,148.
