Wellness Center Office Coordinator
Applicants must be a Colorado resident.
The Wellness Center Office Coordinator will be the primary
administrative assistant for the 2nd floor of the Student Wellness
Center which is comprised of multiple Student Life direct service
programs/departments: 1) Student Wellness Promotion, 2) Counseling
Center, 3) Dental Clinic, and 4) Student Health Insurance, as well
as the Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX.
Serves in an administrative capacity and provides support to all
departments located on the 2nd
floor of the Student
- First point of contact (walk-ins, phone calls, emails) for
students, faculty, staff, parents, and the public regarding
Wellness Center programs. Determines needs and schedules
appointments or refers to appropriate staff member per each
- Interprets and explains policies and procedures for all
2nd floor Wellness Center programs/departments.
- Schedules and maintains appointment calendars for Counseling
Center, the Dental Clinic (dentist and hygienist), Student Wellness
Promotion, and the Peer Education Program.
- Handles and processes payments for dental services and
- Assists the Student Health Insurance Plan Manager, particularly
during Waiver periods and Census Day.
- Uses Banner, Chrome River, Medicat, Zoom for Healthcare,
Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook to manage records and multiple
- Handles mail for all departments.
- Orders office supplies as needed.
- Places work orders for all departments.
- Provides instruction to and oversight of student
- Handles student compliance for required student courses.
- Assists with new-student orientations activities and other
campus-wide student events.
Three years of general clerical experience which included front
desk office reception and proficiency in word processing and
spreadsheet software such as Word and Excel and calendaring
software such as Outlook (part-time experience will be pro-rated).
Must be organized, detail oriented and exhibit sensitivity and
discretion with respect to confidential matters. Since this
position supports four different departments, must have flexibility
and the ability to multi-task. Heavy interaction with faculty,
staff and students requires this position to possess excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal.
