Exercise judgment to comply with instructions and established procedures and to make decisions in the day-to-day operation of a snack bar. Qualifications

High school education or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

At least 18 months of food handling, short order cooking, or related experience.

The ability to read, write and follow instruction is necessary.

The ability to count cash, make change and communicate well with the public.

At least one year of cash handling experience.

Job Specific Qualifications
High school education or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. 80 hours Starbuck store manager training, 1 year Starbucks Advanced Store Trainer role, Playbook trainer certified, ECOSure Certified. At least 18 months of food handling, short order cooking, or related experience. The ability to read, write and follow instruction is necessary. The ability to count cash, make change and communicate well with the public. At least one year of cash handling experience.

Operate independently and without direct supervision to determine quantities of food and beverages needed.
Perform duties of Starbucks Advance Store Trainer to comply with the Starbucks franchise required standards.
Complete daily Starbucks check lists for compliance.
Process Starbucks Mail Pak including promotional workbooks and training material for upcoming period,
Manage the Pull to Thaw process to ensure proper food quality.
Calibrate coffee grinder and espresso machines daily in accordance with Starbucks standards
Maintain records such as number and dollar volume of sales, daily time record of hours worked, etc.
Balance and reconcile cash to cash register tapes. Balance safe (petty cash) daily.
Instruct and assign helpers and student staff.
Forecast and determine weekly order based upon established menus and customer count history.
Place orders with food vendors. Take weekly inventory of products.
Take between 300-1200 customer orders daily and serve them.
Use POS terminal to add cost of food, collect money and make change.
Prepare a variety of simple foods including french fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, soups, sandwiches, etc. Prepare and dispense coffee, tea and other beverages.
Wash dishes, cooking utensils, counter space, etc.
Observe safety and health regulations and maintain highest standards of sanitation. Physical Requirements
On a daily basis standing, bending, stooping, walking, lifting between 15-50 pounds daily. Tools/Equipment
Operate a variety of equipment, including a computerized POS terminal, food slicer, grill, deep fryer, convention oven, steamer, dish washer, etc. Application Instructions
