Position Description

The Programmer Analyst III's role is to develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of business requirements. This position will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Additionally, the Programmer Analyst III is also responsible for supervising and/or leading the development of new systems, directing changes to existing systems and controlling the interfaces between the systems, initiating complex feasibility studies and making recommendations of the action to be taken.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Works with third party party vendor to obtain and review Criminal Background Checks (CBC) for accepted students.
  • Manage, process, track and ensure accurate statuses for all Office of Admissions student programs and endeavors (pipeline, recruitment, events, outreach).
  • Develops, maintains and implements data integrity measures and cross platform communication among institutional software and third party applications.
  • Database administration and management to include data mining, analysis and reporting.
  • Web development and web application life cycle oversight for all Office of Admissions endeavors.
  • Manages all point of access accounts for all applying, visiting, and incoming/current students and Office of Admissions personnel.
  • Acts as Office of Admissions liaison for all internal and external requests regarding data, technology, and usage in those areas.
  • Management of all digital document workflow and storage for all Office of Admissions applying, visiting, incoming and current students.
  • Maintains all software, applications and web tools that support the application life cycle for the Office of Admissions, in conjunction with the Associate Director and Senior Director.
  • Assist and manage virtual events as needed.
