Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
The Client Intake Specialist and Accessibility Assistant works primary with the director of Counseling and Student Disability Services and is responsible for providing efficient and professional management of all functions related to Counseling and Student Disability Services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates, and oversees all activities associated with the dat to day management and operations of the Center: is the Intake Specialist for all professional counseling staff and serves as Accessibility Assistant to Student Disability Coordinator.
- Supervised work study students
- Greets individuals and general public: provides information pertaining to Special Initiative Programs.
- Keeps varies administrative and fiscal records; serves as manager and Intake Coordinator of PyraMed5 and/or Titanium Data System
- Composes various letters and other correspondences for signature
- Coordinates and supervises work of student assistants
- Assist Student Disability Coordinator with accommodations process
- Performs other duties, as required
High School diploma / GED or a equivalent education is required for this position
6 months plus of Administrative Experience or Office work
Must be proficient in the use of software including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in appropriate field, having successfully completed courses in business communications, data processing/software applications, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Proficiency in BANNER and Excel highly preferred
Two to three years of experience in higher education environment
Some knowledge of ADA/504 and mental health is highly desirable
Proposed Salary
Salary range is from $25,000 to $28,000
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of office equipment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time
Must be highly organized, able to prioritize, able to multi-task and able to communicate with external and internal customers effectively
Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity in handling confidential matters
