Description

The Department of Construction Management and Interior Design is seeking applicants to be part of a departmental pool of part-time adjunct faculty. Possible teaching assignments may include introductory courses, CAD, safety, construction documents and scheduling in construction management.

Applications will be held on file until June 2023. Applicants in the departmental pool will be notified only if an opportunity becomes available in her or his area(s) of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

Terminal or master’s degree in construction management, architecture or related field from an accredited institution, OR:
  1. A minimum of five (5) years of experience;
  2. Experience at the managerial/professional level; and
  3. Relevant professional licensure and certification(s) may include but are not limited to:


-Registration as an Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), or Interior Designer ( NCIDQ ).
-Certification as a Project Management Professional ( PMP ), Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional ( PMI -SP) or Certified Construction Professional ( CPC ).
-Accreditation as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional ( LEED -AP).

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant industry experience, prior teaching experience in higher education, experience with CAD and Revit, safety, certification, licensure.
