Residential Fitness Coordinator

Position Summary

Campus Living is accepting applications for our Residential Fitness Coordinator position. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day functions for an on-campus residential fitness program.

Your duties include:
  • Coordinating programs offered through our residential fitness centers
  • Managing these centers located in college residence halls and apartment complexes
  • Planning, designing and implementing programs for students to receive training, education, and feedback/referral regarding lifestyle choices supporting individual wellness
  • Supervising and training student managers, instructors and programmers
  • Developing and managing a budget and a comprehensive assessment measure of programs.
  • Collaborate between Campus Living and Recreation & Intramurals to deliver programs and services

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates Degree with 2 or more years of experiences or a Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in the execution of fitness programming, which could include wellness outreach programming (public health promotions), recreation and intramural programs and activities, group fitness programming.
  • Experience conducting research and possess strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with students in a college or university setting.
  • The ability to supervise and provide direction to a large number of student staff (100+) in multiple facilities.
