Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary: $3,609 per month

Full classification Salary Range: $3,609 - $5,079 per month
  • This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position.
  • Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 14 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the Student Personnel Technician requires a thorough knowledge of the policies and procedures of various federal, state and institutional financial aid and scholarship programs. This position preforms technical tasks associated with the delivery of aid funds to students and provides advice and assistance to students, parents and campus staff on a variety of financial aid programs.

Education and Experience
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Equivalent of two years of financial aid office experience at any level.



Department Summary

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships supports the University by administering and/or coordinating all student financial aid programs at California State University, Fresno. The office is responsible for administering federal, state, institutional, and scholarship aid in excess for $250,000,000 annually to approximately 80% of the student.

This will require the filing of a Statement of Economic Interest on an annual basis and the completion of training within six (6) months of assuming office and every two (2) years thereafter.
