The teaching load is 5.5 courses per year, with the half course most often taught every other year in our unique spring term. Faculty are also expected to have an active research program. To support faculty research agendas, the university has a summer research grant program, a generous five-year sabbatical cycle as well as a pre-tenure research leave program.
