Tarleton State University is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to play an active role in our continuing academic success as the Associate Provost and Associate Vice President for Academic Administration, Operations, and Accreditation to start January 2, 2023. 

The successful candidate will provide leadership within the academic division, oversees and monitors academic performance, act as a liaison to the Provost and support the Provost in planning, coordinating, and administering of academic affairs programs at the university. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Institutional Research & Effectiveness and Institutional Accreditation; Academic Administration; Academic Operations; and Institutional Space Utilization and Space Planning. Serves as SACSCOC Liaison and oversees activities and reporting of the Registrar.   

Applicants must have earned a doctorate or relevant terminal academic degree from an accredited institution; must have earned the academic rank of Associate Professor or higher with a record of research or creative scholarship; must have a record of successful administrative leadership roles and responsibilities in a higher education setting; and must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and meticulous record keeping.
