Position Purpose
The Testing Center Coordinator for Student Accessibility Services ( SAS ) supports faculty and their students who are approved for testing accommodations by providing a welcoming, well-organized center in which students can test. To ensure excellent service, the Coordinator manages day-to-day operations to facilitate timely completion of testing agreements; approval of testing schedules; delivery, printing, and scanning of testing materials; and seating students for exams. The Coordinator fosters collaborative, customer-service-oriented interactions with staff, students, and faculty, determines work priorities in support of SAS’ mission, and supervises at least one Testing Center Assistant to support these functions.

Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Commitment to fully serving a diverse population
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of administrative or program coordination experience in a fast-paced office or educational setting
- Strong planning and organizational skills and high level of attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and complete duties. Excellent follow-through to ensure integrity of Testing Center
- Flexibility and adaptability. Ability to calmly respond to challenging situations, pressures, deadlines, and frequent schedule changes in real time. Availability to work extended work hours approximately one week each quarter during finals
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster positive and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Collaborative approach with colleagues to support the mission of SAS
- Respect for privacy and adherence to confidentiality guidelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Canvas. Comfort learning new software and applications
- Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of administrative or program coordination experience in a higher education setting
- At least 2 years supervisory experience
- Ability to troubleshoot computer issues (on PC and Mac) that may arise in the course of test administration
- Experience with Accessible Information Management or similar disability service database, Slack, and Qualtrics
