Part-Time Visiting Faculty Position in Italian

The Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach 4 courses in Italian (2 courses in the Fall semester and 2 courses in the Spring semester) to begin in August 2022. We seek a generalist who will be responsible for teaching elementary Italian language courses and with the possibility of teaching one Italian literature course. Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in Italian and English and proven expertise in teaching Italian language at all undergraduate levels at a U.S. college or university.

Ph.D. in Italian preferred. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
