North Platte Community College is seeking a
dynamic individual to serve as our Assistant Director of
Multicultural Leadership and Engagement. Job duties include:
coordinating Student Leadership Development, assisting Residence
Life Directors create an inclusive residential community, planning
and implementing student activities and leadership events, and
advising NPCC Student Senate. This person will also lead the
development of our MPCC Student Leadership and Multicultural
Education Plan and coordinate service-learning events area-wide.
This is a “live-in” position and is required to live in on-campus
housing at NPCC. Coaching opportunities may be available.
Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county
service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open
access, public, two-year community college system that offers
associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of
three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two
located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are
community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and
Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area.

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and experience in Multicultural
Education, Leadership Education, Student Life, Student Affairs, or
related fields. Team-oriented and customer "people skills" are a
must, with experience working in multicultural environment,
personnel management, and team or community development.
