- The University of Central Missouri Department of Psychological Science invites applications for a tenured position as Chair and Associate/Full Professor.
- Administrative duties include, but are not limited to, providing effective leadership in teaching, research, student success, recruitment, and curriculum development. The successful candidate will advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department.
- Teaching responsibilities include a teaching load of six credit hours per semester, such as General Psychology and other Psychology courses based on the individual’s expertise and previous teaching experience.
- The successful candidate will be expected to make scholarly contributions in one or more areas of psychological science.
Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Computer Skills Experience
- The successful candidate must have a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and service that merits appointment as a Full or Associate Professor.
- Experience and skills in mentoring student research are especially valued.
- Additional preferred qualifications include successful experience in: managing budgets and personnel; Curriculum development including assessment; collegial leadership; and facilitation of faculty recruitment, professional development, and promotion.
