Loyola University Chicago is seeking a Lecturer to lecture students in mathematics and statistics classes; hold regular office hours; conduct and grade midterm and final examinations in mathematics and Statistics, and grade projects in Statistics; utilize data science skills, machine learning and statistics skills (Python, Pytorch, pandas, numpy, tensorflow, R); use LaTex, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook. Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in Mathematics with 18 hours of graduate courses in data science, and/or computer science, and a certificate in teaching plus 2 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Utilize data science a, machine learning and statistics skills (Python, Pytorch, pandas, numpy, tensorflow, R); Use LaTex, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook (two years); Utilize research skills in topological and equivariant methods in nonlinear analysis, and Optimal control systems, and lecturing mathematics and statistics.
