Summary of Position: This position will assist with the
day-to-day management of the Office of Student Financial Services,
and reports to the Director of Graduate/Professional Student
Financial Services. The Assistant Director assists in the execution
of the financial aid programs designed to assist students with
their investment in a Suffolk education. The Assistant Director
also collaborates with the director to ensure the policies and
practices in financial aid will create outstanding customer service
for current and prospective Suffolk students and families. The
Assistant Director will work to eliminate barriers students may
face and create efficient, service friendly ideas and for the
benefit of students.

Graduate/Professional student caseload Serve as designated
financial aid counselor for segment of the graduate/professional
student population. Responsible for all aspects of awarding
financial aid to this group.
Manage Federal Direct Loan program for all Suffolk University
students. Perform monthly reconciliation, originate loans, update
disbursement records to the Department of Education and resolve any
rejected records. Outreach to students to fulfill all requirements
to allow funds to disburse.
Supervise disbursement of graduate/professional aid in
compliance with federal regulations and University policies.
Financial Literacy Coordinate and deliver financial literacy
content for graduate/professional students.
