Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible
transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your

Master’s in chemistry
Bachelor’s in chemistry or biochemistry
Master’s in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics,
physics, molecular biology or geochemistry
OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related
education, training, employment and professional experience that
would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this
field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.

Demonstrated excellence in academic background and in teaching
Knowledge and use of modern technologies and computerized
applications in chemistry.
Experience in teaching organic chemistry.

and support disproportionately impacted student populations with
the goal of closing equity gaps.
