The Kent State College of Nursing Center for Research Overview:
The Center for Nursing Research (CNR) at Kent State University is dedicated to supporting faculty and students to advance the science of nursing and health care research and engage in collaborative research locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Led by the Associate Dean for Research at the College of Nursing with assistance from a Grants Administrator and Grants Coordinator, the CNR provides infrastructure support for all phases of research, project leadership, and research mentoring to faculty and students pursuing research and other scholarly endeavors.

Position Description: 
Kent State University, College of Nursing is seeking a national leader as our Associate Dean of Research and Scholarship.

This position will assist the Dean and other major Administrators both at the University and in the College by leading and promoting the development of research and scholarly productivity of the faculty, students and professional staff.  This will include, but is not limited to, contribution of securing and maintaining resources for proposals, grant writing, implementation and dissemination of scholarly work.  The opportunity to increase the interdisciplinary and inter-organizational research partnerships and strengthen existing research partnerships.

Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field: 3 years administrative and/or funded research experience. Faculty rank at Associate or Professor level and eligible for tenure. Must be eligible for RN licensure in Ohio.
