JOB SUMMARY:

The department of Accounting & Law seeks applications for a full time tenure track position in accounting in the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, to start in the Fall semester 2023. The position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, producing intellectual contributions, and engaging in institutional service. The Robert B. Willumstad School of Business is accredited by AACSB-International. The successful applicant must be Scholarly Academic and maintain that status.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Faculty members teach 18 credits (6 courses) annually.
  2. Teach upper level undergraduate courses in Advanced Accounting, Auditing or Federal Taxation, and graduate courses in Accounting Theory, Advanced Auditing, or Advanced Taxation.
  3. Teaching assignments can occur at any of the University's sites, including in Manhattan, at off-campus corporate locations, and on weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Possess a terminal degree in accounting or in business with at least 18 graduate credit hours in accounting from an AACSB-accredited program.
  2. Active CPA license with at least reasonable experience working for a CPA firm.
