Job Description:

The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida, College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks a full time fellowship trained women's imager at assistant or associate level, under new leadership and a new vision.

This position will include participation in our Breast Imaging clinical practice, including digital Mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image guided needle biopsies and seed localizations. In addition, the position includes resident and fellow education and multidisciplinary tumor board presentations. Our multidisciplinary practice includes frequent interaction with other members of the breast service line (breast clinic, surgery, oncology, pathology). The successful candidate must demonstrate an exceptional research record and possess proven research leadership to mentor junior and mid-level faculty in their development of research projects and help them to cultivate a successful research portfolio. Interdisciplinary collaborative experience and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in a diverse organization across multiple disciplines.

The candidate must also have shown a significant commitment to teaching and to providing high-quality Care and service in women's imaging.

The candidate will work closely with the Division Chief, Department Chair, Research Manager and Dean of Research at UF, to provide oversight to develop and maintain research efforts for the Department

Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Candidates must be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida and meet the qualifications for a full time faculty position at the University of Florida.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three colleges at the Health Science Center Jacksonville. The college is affiliated with UF Health in Jacksonville, a health system comprised of two hospitals — the 603-bed UF Health Jacksonville and 92-bed UF Health North — and more than 60 primary and specialty care practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 440 faculty members, 1,560 staff and 384 residents and fellows, as well as medical students from UF and around the country. Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable; commensurate with experience and qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
