Job Description
This position will monitor, coordinate changes, test, tune and troubleshoot issues with Brainware, MOVEit, Tidal, DocuSign, ReconNET and Perceptive Content software. In addition, they will advise and train end users and automate processes. The position will also participate in system upgrades and maintenance, and ensure system best practices are followed.
The hiree is required to come to the Columbia campus quarterly at their own expense for meetings, training, troubleshooting, etc. The rest of the time the position will work remotely.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Software configuration adds/changes/deletes
Monitor software, analyze problems, work with vendor to tune and troubleshoot applications
Work with customers to ensure proper integration of applications, provide advice and training to end-users
Plan, coordinate, test, and communicate changes, upgrades/maintenance schedules, and new services with customers, ensuring business operations will operate correctly in current and future environments
Enable and document best practices for applications, automate processes, keep up to date with relevant technologies
Salary
$47,476 - $65,000 Commensurate with experience
Shift
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Minimum Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED. One year in a full time position with the primary responsibility in IT Application Support, IT user support, or other IT work
• Depending on competency level, technical skills will range from familiarity to a solid expertise with the specific business applications/programs. Increased competency with certain business applications/programs may be acquired through cross training and vendor training
• Familiarity with supporting desktop software applications and the Windows operating system
• Understand the workflow and process requirements of business units related to the application
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, be a good listener and work well with a diverse group of customers
• Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications
• Excellent problem solving/analytical skills, knowledge of analytical tools, and complex troubleshooting methods
• Ability to work through non-standard support issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work through commonly assigned tasks with little supervision
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Associates or higher degree
• Experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness
• Experience modifying/creating SQL queries and/or JavaScript
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative
• Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
• Adept at reading, writing and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
• Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language
• Experience with back end Windows server application support
