About this Opportunity

The campaign manager in the Division of Online and Strategic Learning contributes to the success of online and blended students by managing multichannel campaigns for student recruitment and success. They use a variety of tools to develop and enhance campaigns, with special emphasis on monitoring, tracking, and enhancing messages based on measurable key performance indicators and online user behavior. Remote work arrangements can be considered – up to 100% remote.

Position Function

The campaign manager in the Division of Online and Strategic Learning contributes to the success of online and blended students by managing multichannel campaigns for student recruitment and success. They use a variety of tools to develop and enhance campaigns, with special emphasis on monitoring, tracking, and enhancing messages based on measurable key performance indicators and online user behaviors. Remote work arrangements can be considered – up to 100% remote.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Minimum Experience

Experience in digital marketing, including CRM communications, web content management, digital campaign creation or management, social media, or web/digital analytics.

Minimum Other

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to explain complex ideas or processes to stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in business, communications, marketing, media design, public relations, social science, or related field.

Preferred Experience

One year professional experience with digital marketing including demonstrated experience with campaign analysis. Experience using the Slate CRM . Experience with usability and design thinking. Experience in recruitment marketing for higher education and knowledge of adult learners.

Preferred Other

Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ranking

Job Duty

Implement, track, and analyze campaigns for online and blended student recruitment and student success using data-informed best practices, including but not limited to student journey maps and online user experience. Collaborate with marketing and student support staff to maximize efforts in the recruitment and retention of online students.

Manage assets for online and blended program campaigns using the University’s recruitment marketing technology stack, which includes website content management, blogs, email marketing, SMS messaging, and automated workflows in CRM and student success management systems.

Provide regular and ongoing reporting of campaign activity and trends to the division, with special emphasis on KPIs such as conversion number, conversion rate, and source tracking.

Manage work and foster collaboration using project management best practices and systems. Communicate with team members consistently on progress and deadlines to ensure deliverables are met on time.

Job Duty

Lead all efforts in campaign data collection and analysis. This includes, but is not limited to, tracking and reporting on campaign key performance indicators, contextual website analytics, keyword analysis, A/B testing, and other analysis. This requires active, regular participation in meetings with vendors.

Research best practices in campaign management, tracking, and analysis for adult and online student recruitment and retention. Share knowledge that may impact related efforts in campaign development and student communications with staff the division.
