Coordinates cash operations in the Student Financial Services Department. Ensures that campus wide deposits are forwarded to the bank, researched and directed to the Financial Accounting System (FAS) in a timely manner.,,
  1. Coordinates cash operations in the Student Financial Services Department, including deposits, reports and proper cash flow to meet the university's needs during normal/peak times.,
  2. Ensures that campus wide deposits are forwarded to the bank and reports are accurately batched, researched and redirected to the Financial Accounting System (FAS) in a timely manner.,,
  3. Reconciles cash daily and prepares monthly reports.,,,
  4. Administers cash related operations, which includes depositing campus funds; overseeing the vault and its cash flow; and, disbursing cash to cashiers and departments.,
  5. Informs departments of errors in cash-related activities and corrects them.,,,
  6. Supervises the daily reporting into FAS and ensures that funds are deposited in banks in a timely manner.,,,
  7. Modifies & Revises forms, worksheets and procedures for the office.,,
  8. Reviews and recommends security measures for the office; interprets policy and procedures for disbursement of petty cash.,,,
  9. Researches student's payment discrepancies. Works with Scholarship and Financial Aids to ascertain that Loan check is being distributed to the student.,,,Performs other job-related duties as assigned.,,,

Qualifications :

Associates and 3 years experience

Education Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainable through specific education and/or training programs in a specialty or technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or a basic knowledge of a professional field is required. An Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program of over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristic of this field. Experience Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly Certification/Licensing None.
