Position Purpose
The Client Support Specialist I serves as the initial point of contact for assistance for all computer sales and repair services for the Computer Store. The Client Support Specialist will work with the manager to perform financial reconciliation and financial functions.
Description
This position will work with a team to assist customers with their technology needs. Working with customers to assist in determining what technology best fits their needs. Being the first level for repair shop triage and verify of warranty information. This position will work closely with the manager on all accounting functions associated with the sales and service department. Processing CC receipts, receiving of inventory and daily transactions.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp
Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Experience working in a customer service related field
Experience working in technology-related environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks and priorities
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Clear and concise communication
Ability to work in collaboration with others
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
*Associates Degree with related coursework OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years’ relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Solid understanding of accounting, knowledge of inventory management beneficial
Experience working in an Academic environment
Experience using Point of Sales System
Experience supporting hardware and/or software
Combination of post secondary degree and 2-3 years relevant work experience

Sales Service
Consults with customers regarding device needs and recommends purchases based on those needs
Verifies eligibility of prospective customers to make purchases from the store
Processes orders, refunds and exchanges via our Point of Sales System
Resolves customer queries and complaints in a timely and accurate way and works to ensure resolution
Runs end of day close-out/sales report and reconciles to revenue receipts
Manages store inventory including ordering and returns of obsolete product

Diagnoses and repairs minor hardware problems
Processes intake of devices for repair including verifying warranty
Uses Point of Sales System to update and complete work orders to allow generation of bills for services performed
Responds to inquiries from customers about their repair history
