This is a full-time appointment. The starting annual salary is
$45,000 or higher based on qualifications and includes a

The Administrative Specialist is the face for all Residence Hall
Facilities incoming staff. The position assists in recruiting,
hiring, and on-boarding new staff members. Trains on policies and
communicates with all members of the diverse and supportive
University Housing Team.
Responsible for a variety of professional level work across a
variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance,
procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution
in support of unit or institutional goals.
- 25% Implements and executes established policies and procedures
for a designated work unit to adhere to unit objectives and to
align with established strategies
- 30% Schedules logistics and secures resources for a designated
work unit to contribute to the day-to-day operational success
- 10% Analyzes data and trends, compiles progress reports, and
provides appropriate recommendations or conclusions in support of
the assigned operational work unit(s)
- 5% Assists, recommends, and advises staff on unit or program
administrative issues, personnel matters, and budgetary
- 10% Serves on committees and attends meetings, representing the
interests of the unit or program
- 20% Facilitates recruitment, training and onboarding activities

Appointment Type, Duration:
Primary schedule for this position is 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday
through Friday. Schedule will be determined upon hire.
