Depending on Qualifications
This position is responsible for providing administrative support
to the Department of Physics by primarily participating in travel
organization and travel reimbursement. This position makes travel
arrangements, both foreign and domestic, in accordance with
University, State, and Federal travel regulations for UW employees
and non-employee visitors. This position also assists with planning
and arranging meeting locations, breaks, luncheons, dinners, and
social events to coincide with scientific programs. The position
works both independently and as part of a team to manage multiple
priorities and perform responsibilities accurately, within time
deadlines, to meet the business needs of the Department.
Provides general administrative support, while exercising
discretion, to the administrator of a department or division of the
institution or to the administrator of multiple institution
programs, services, and activities.
