Department Summary
In support of the CSUSB Strategic Plan, the College of Extended and Global Education (CEGE) leads the campus' internationalization and global engagement by collaborating with international partners to develop and promote activities, programs, and services that meet the needs of the university, regional, national, and global communities.
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of Associate Dean/Executive Director for Center for International Studies and Programs, the Partnership Program Lead provides administrative and program leadership in all aspects of partnership programs with China and other countries. Work is guided by the overall goals and objectives with full accountability for results and requires regular planning, development, independent determination of methods to meet programmatic or administrative goals, as well as independent determination of approaches to project and priorities.
Employment Status: This position is a full-time, "exempt" probationary position (with the possibility of converting to permanent).

Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Qualifications
- Working knowledge of student academic advising.
- Working knowledge of strategic enrollment management in higher education
- Ability to travel domestically, and internationally to support recruitment and program development and implementation
- Fluency, written, and spoken, in Chinese (Mandarin)
- Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of university infrastructure, policy, and procedures or in an organization with similar complexity
- Ability to interpret and apply policy and procedures independently to use judgment and discretion
- Expertise in using office software, technology, and system including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft, and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and work effectively both independently and/or as a part of a team.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and concepts in written or presentation format and use consultative and facilitation skills to gain consensus to culturally diverse audiences.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field.
- Three (3) years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, or evaluation leading to the department or improvements of administrative policies, practices, or programs.
- Experience in creating a partnership with foreign universities and overseeing the development of partnership programs
- Experience in managing projects and programs in higher education; working with a higher education system, especially China, as well as partnership networks and affiliations.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong competency in program management and ability to use campus Enterprise System to obtain the necessary information.
- Experience studying or working in China.
- Experience in international outreach and recruitment.
- Working knowledge of culture, government, and education in countries outside the U.S.A
- Experience with budgets, personnel management, and administration.
- Experience and expertise in risk management for both in-bound and out-bound students.
Salary
Anticipated Hiring Range: $4,693.00 - $5,562.00 Monthly
Classification Salary Range: $4,693.00 - $8,489.00 Monthly or $56,316.00 - $101,868.00 Annually
