Kent State University has immediate opening for a Lead Application Developer on our Data Management & Analytics team. Lead a team responsible for the basic design, development and ongoing modification of software applications, and implementation of work products in a very complex production environment. Design, develop and maintain software applications and provide application-specific user support. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and six or more years of relevant experience. Five years of demonstrated experience working with data.

Preferred skills: Experience with ETL , real-time application integrations, SQL, and/or a development platform such as Talend, Azure data factory, or other data platform/tools; Must have strong application development skills; excellent analytical, and problem solving skills. Experience with data architecture, building data pipelines, Talend, Apache Camel, Cassandra, Kafka and/or Azure data platform tools is a PLUS Experience with ETL.
