The Photography Program at Bard College invites applications for a 2/3 time tenure track position, rank open. Candidates must have a minimum of three years teaching experience at the college level and an active, strong exhibition record. It should be noted that the Bard Photography program is an analogue, film-based program for the first two years. An ability to teach analogue film-based photography is required, and a broad range of skills, teaching beginning as well as advanced critique courses, in digital as well as analogue is desired. We encourage candidates who are deeply committed to a strong arts education in combination with a rigorous liberal arts education. The successful candidate will play an active role in advising students, participating in review boards and generally contributing to the function of the Photography Program, as well as possible cross-disciplinary collaborations. Qualifications
