The Human Resources department seeks a P/T Human Resources
Office Assistant (WP) who will provide clerical/administrative
support to the HR front office as well as the HR team
members. This includes assistance with data entry,
faxing, filing, archiving, shredding, employment
letters/verifications and organizing supplies. The
incumbent will assist in the preparation of documents for
employee-related orientations, events, trainings, and
mailings. Front office support includes coverage of the Human
Resources front desk by answering & directing calls and
receiving customers, ascertaining their business and directing them
accordingly. The incumbent will help to transition the HR
office to becoming a paperless environment. Additional duties, as
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Possession
of a high school or equivalency diploma and 3 years of experience
where the primary function of the position was performing general
office/clerical work, 2 years of which must have included the use
of computer applications to maintain automated records or produce
correspondence, spreadsheets, forms, reports or other
documents. The successful candidate must be able to handle
busy, multi-lined phones and work independently. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills are required.
QUALIFICATIONS: HR experience
preferred. Experience working within a confidential
environment also preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule
will be Monday-Friday: 28 hours per week.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $14.60 per hour.
