1 Full-time/Part-time Full-Time Position Type Staff Job Summary/Basic Function
Provides daily security for employees, students, and visitors. Coordinates critical response activities within the organization and provides critical response preparedness training. Fulfills the requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or Clery Act. Minimum Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in a related field.
* Three (3) years of related experience.
* Proficient using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email and calendaring.
* Ability to navigate the Internet and skillful with smart phone apps and software.
* Comfortable using applications on smart phone and other devices.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong team player, training, leadership, and motivational skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Clery Compliance Officer certification.
• Proficient using Maxient (or other incident reporting tools)
• Understanding of relational data Months Per Year 12 Hours Worked Per Week 40 Work Schedule Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with an half hour lunch break. Supervision Exercised

Travel is required to visit the Iron Mountain campus on a weekly basis or as needed.

Job Duties

Job Duty
Provide a physical presence on the Escanaba campus as security personnel. Job Duty
Provide monthly visits and trainings at West Campus in Iron Mountain. Job Duty
Manage setups and configurations of Maxient reports, forms, user accounts, and administrative functions. Job Duty
Manage and respond to security incident reports in Maxient system.
Job Duty
Manage RAVE Facility and provide training to all employees on the mobile RAVE app and coordinate with local 911 dispatch in Escanaba and Iron Mountain to ensure RAVE configurations are working properly. Job Duty
Manage all requirements of Clery compliance, including the Daily Crime Log. (on the job training will be provided) Job Duty
Provide oversight of surveillance cameras on both campuses by ensuring acceptable operation and provide guidance on new installations and/or alterations to existing cameras. Job Duty
Act as the first point of contact for employees with security concerns.

Job Duty
Address security concerns and related Board Policy violations with employees, students, and community members when needed Job Duty
Keep informed of activities or changes that could affect the likelihood of a security event.

Job Duty
Hire, coordinate, and evaluate consultants to cover security for large events or events with security concerns.

Job Duty
Assist with routine testing of emergency broadcast systems to ensure operation during an emergency

Job Duty
Develop and implement training procedures and strategies based on local and state requirements.

Job Duty
Provide routine security training to employees on both campuses that focuses on personal accountability and preparedness.

Job Duty
Develop and maintain processes and procedures for critical incident responses.

Job Duty
Coordinate and train Immediate Response Team ( IRT ) members.

Job Duty
Act as the liaison to county and local law enforcement officials. Job Duty
Any other duties as assigned
