Reynolds Community College has an exciting opportunity available to join the college as the Coordinator of Nursing Programs with the School of Health Professions on the Downtown Campus. The Coordinator of Nursing Programs provides day-to-day oversight of the associate of applied science in nursing program, including management of the budget; assessment, scheduling of nursing courses and curricula; providing academic advising and customer service to nursing students; ensuring that the program meets the requirements of the Virginia Board of Nursing and the accreditation standards of the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN); representing Reynolds’ nursing program to the community; maintaining strong positive relationships with external agencies for clinical practice; and participating on committees within the college and on advisory boards within the community. In collaboration with the Dean for the School of Health Professions, the Coordinator will evaluate and hire full- and part-time nursing faculty. In addition to the day-to-day oversight of the Associate of Applied Science in nursing program, this position will provide support to the program leads for the practical nursing and nurse aide programs.

Type of Appointment: Full-time twelve-month professional faculty-ranked appointment. Salary range: $65,384 - $99,498. Salary commensurate with the education and experience of the candidate.
