The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is currently recruiting for a full-time basic research position in the Specialist series at the rank of Assistant or Associate. Appointees to the Specialist series are expected to make significant and creative contributions to a research or creative project. This position may engage in University and public service.

The primary responsibilities will be the design and execution of experiments in immunology and autoimmunity, including conducting and managing experimental trials in Type 1 diabetes and Primary biliary cholangitis models, analysis of immune cell populations and their modulation by therapeutic interventions, and the performance of general molecular, immunological and cellular biology techniques including cell culture, ELISA, FACS, western blotting and general laboratory techniques used in the research program.
