The Department of Radiology is recruiting for radiologists
interested in pursuing a clinical fellowship in PET-CT/Molecular
Imaging beginning on July 1, 2023.
The School of Medicine and Public Health has a deep and profound

This appointment will be in the PET/Molecular Imaging Fellowship
Program receiving advanced training in PET-CT/Molecular Imaging for
diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
This position will always function as a trainee for advanced PET
In the first six months of the fellowship, the position will
function as a trainee when they participate in reading sessions in
PET imaging and being involved in molecular imaging. The training
includes research time in PET and molecular imaging.
In the second six months of the fellowship, optional independent
clinical activity may include general clinical PET examinations
using routine radiopharmaceuticals, dependent upon achieving
proficiency in reading these studies as obtained during the first
six month training period. The position will always function as a
trainee when they are developing an academic career in molecular
imaging, learning about research methodology, and investigating the
new molecular imaging agents such as sodium fluoride or
An additional component of this appointment outside of the
fellowship is providing independent clinical services for the
Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the
Department Chair. Work may be carried out at the University of
Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Unitypoint Health-Meriter Hospital
and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended
coverage areas as necessary.
