Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo (UB), and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital ( OCH ) are seeking two candidates for full-time faculty positions at the clinical Assistant, Associate or professor ranks.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess a medical degree and a valid license, a clinical background in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Board Certification in Pediatrics, and Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include strong academic background and interest in pursuing a career in clinical research and teaching, and clinical experience in pediatric cardiac critical care to support the ongoing development of a pediatric cardiac surgical. It is recommended but not required that applicants be board certified/board eligible in both pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiology or have a fourth year of training in cardiac intensive care following a pediatric critical care fellowship (board certified/board eligible).
